Geometric Themed Crib Bedding Sets For Your Nursery
As an internet retailer of crib bedding sets, I have for years found my sales dominated by heavily themed collections. These collections feature jungle animals, farmyard scenes, flowers and butterflies, popular characters, cowboys, and dozens of other popular themes. Recently, I have noticed a surge in consumer interest in crib bedding sets that feature geometric patterns; and manufacturers appear to have responded with and increasing number of offerings in this category.
In particular, Glenna Jean, a baby crib bedding manufacturer for over 25 years, specializing in soft textured fabrics and hand-patched bedding, has jumped into this category very strongly in the past year. It seems that nearly half of their new releases are in this category. They started with a pattern called Flashback baby crib bedding that was released in 2005. True to its name, Flashback baby crib bedding features fabrics that are reminiscent of "Mod" circle and square patterns of the 1970's, in shades of brown and tan.

Unfortunately, these collections do not come cheap – typical 4-piece crib bedding sets, including quilt, bumper, dust ruffle, and fitted sheet, start at nearly $300. Buying a set and just a few nursery room accessories can quickly bring the entire purchase to in excess of $500. Of course, Glenna Jean uses only premium quality fabrics, making their crib bedding sets worth the price for those who can afford it.
Much simpler, and less expensive, options are available for those interested in geometric crib bedding. Como baby crib bedding and Milan baby crib bedding, by Crown Crafts, feature large polka dots and stripes and are accompanied by a modest selection of decorating accessories. The 4-piece crib bedding sets start at about $150, keeping them well within the budgets of far more families.
For those who wish to split the difference price-wise, Cocalo Baby recently introduced Zen Baby crib bedding under their Kimberly Grant line of merchandise. Retailing a 4-piece set for approximately $250, this set also has a modest selection of nursery room accessories.
