Spice Up Your Child's Bedroom - Colorful Children's Bedding
Unlike babies who babble, children are more than capable of selecting their own theme. Shop for children's bedding sets complete with comforter, sheets, and bed linens with your child. Based on their current mindset, they might opt for the latest cartoon or their personal favorite.
Most likely, they'll want to convert their ex-nursery into a worship center complete with posters, dolls, area rugs, and clothing matching their children's bedding theme. Pillow cases, sheets, and blankets with the Dallas Cowboy football team logo emblazoned across them can be complemented with a football poster, and a couple of souvenir items, to complement the look of your child's bedroom.
If your toddler is in the 3 to 5 year old age range, finding the children's bedding that correctly matches their maturity level is important. Crib bedding consists of Hawaiian prints, jungle themes, animals & nature, and other baby crib bedding themes. By now, your child will probably be a Number One fan of cartoon shows and characters such as Spongebob Squarepants, Spiderman, Batman, Barbie, and the Barney series.
Children love bedding sets, but buying them children's bedding on the basis of the latest cartoon or fad can prove to be costly. Kids love to buy on instinct, preferring today's cartoon character over last month's. Going with the classics like Sesame Street or Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory instead of the latest movie bedding theme is a sound idea.
Remember, choose sheets and comforters that will fit a child-sized bed. Be wary - if your child sleeps on a full-sized bed, it might be difficult to find Care Bear bed sheets and comforters that are the same size! If you're a brand fanatic and logos of the Carolina Panthers or a Snoopy face on a comforter isn't your idea of fun, purchase children's bedding from bona fide designers out there such as Laura Ashley for girls, Kimberly Grant, and Osh Kosh B'Gosh. They have colors and patterns for boys and girls plus neutral crib bedding designs.
